Dr. Jason Pintar is a native of New Jersey whose passion for cars has lead him to become a performance driving instructor for the Porsche and BMW car clubs. Jason graduated from The New York State College of Veterinary Medicine, Cornell University in 2001. After completing an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Jason returned to Cornell University for his residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Pintar joined the GSVS team in 2004 and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2005. He has a special interest in cases involving liver disease and infectious diseases as well as, endoscopic procedures, interventional radiology and laparoscopy. He and his wife, who is also a veterinarian, have a large extended family which includes 3 cats, 2 dogs, 2 horses, and 7 chickens.
