| The Internal Medicine Department at GSVS is staffed with board certified specialists and receives referrals in complex medical cases such as diabetes, hematologic disorders, gastrointestinal diseases and many other maladies. They also work as a team with our other specialty groups to provide comprehensive care to our patients. |

JoAnn DeMarco, DVM
Diplomate ACVIM
A 1993 graduate of The Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, JoAnn completed an internship program at Oradell Animal Hospital, and an internal medicine residency at The New York State College of Veterinary Medicine, Cornell University. She became a Diplomate of The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 1997.

Jason Pintar, DVM
Diplomate ACVIM
Jason is a 2001 graduate of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his internship in small animal medicine and surgery at North Carolina State University, and his residency at Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Jason became a Diplomate of The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the summer of 2005.

Stefanie Worwag, VMD
Practice Limited to Internal Medicine
Stefanie is a 2001 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at The Animal Medical Center in 2002 and an internship in small animal internal medicine rotation in Kleintierspital Universitaet Zuerich in 2003. She also completed her residency at The Animal Medical Center in New York City in 2004 and has been a staff internist at Garden State Veterinary Specialists since 2004.

Alicia Kay Henderson, DVM
Diplomate ACVIM
Alicia is a 2002 graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital in 2003 and a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Tufts University Cummings School of Medicine in 2006. Alicia became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2006.
