To all at GSVS,

I just wanted to inform you, and your office, that my beloved dog, Bentley, died Sunday, April 06, 2008 - at home, with me, and his brother, Spencer, by his side. He would have been 13years-old May 31 st.

Bentley was sick for only a short while, and although doctors weren't able to determine the source of his illness, he was beginning to respond to some of the medicines, conventional and complimentary, which held everyone's hopes up until the very end.

Bentley was under your care for several days, last December 2008, for what seemed to be an autoimmune disease. Thank you to everyone who watched over him while he was there. I'm glad Bentley improved after his stay at GSVS, so he could run around the yard and chase balls a few more times. I am still so very broken indeed, which is why it has taken so long for me to let people know, but I am hoping 2009 will bring more comfort. I wish you all a safe and happy New Year.
