A tribute to Charlie

Our buddy Charlie passed away on October 19, 2006. He would have been 14 the 22nd of this month. We will miss him so much. I put together this tribute of Charlie for you Dr. Scavelli. You were the one person who knew him as well as we did.
 
We wanted to once again thank you for all the times you saved him. You made him the Unofficial "National MS Dog" thanks to your generous donations.
 
We have adopted all of our dogs. But, Charlie was special because we actually knew his Owner. Charlie belonged to a mean person who had no regard for "Man's Best Friend". After rescuing Charlie and his Mother from this situation we later found that his abuser was killed in a Motor Vehicle Accident.
 
His new home was full of love and caring for 14 years. He would have never made it that long if not for you.
 
We all know when we take our special friends into our homes that they will be here only for a short time. We made every minute count with Charlie and he will always have a place in our heart. But, we will always have room for more love with Alice, Austin and our newest addition Gladys.
