This is dedicated to Cassidy Kiel, Dr. Alicia Henderson and Dr. Round, the wonderful doctor who made Cassie's passing the kindest of all
Our little Cassie was diagnosed with ITP in July of 2007, one week after receiving a nasal bordetella vaccine. She was only 3 years old. Cassie was our first dog - we did not know dogs got sick - or they could die. We were so unaware. Dr. Jason Pintar initially treated our girl, and she successfully recovered with the help of drugs and prednisone. It was a happy day when we picked her up from the hospital and brought her home. We were so hopeful that there were better days ahead ...
Her care was later taken over by Dr. Alicia Henderson, and for the next 4 years we fought to keep Cassie safe and well. After her 5th relapse of ITP on February 19, 2011, Cassie gave up her fight of this immune disorder on April 3, 2011. It was, and has been, the saddest day in our lives.
Dr. Alicia Henderson was a constant support to us during the last 4 years. Not only did she treat Cassie, but she dealt with us as people. What a great gift! Thank you, Dr. Henderson, for giving us extra time with Cassie and dealing with our human struggle. You are a dedicated professional. Your insight into ITP (platelet disorder) helped give us precious time with Cassie. She was a great little dog - you did not know her when she was well, but she was the life of the party ... a real social network all wrapped up in one little Shih Tzu. We loved her so much. We miss her more ...
We know how hard you tried to help Cassie. We will miss our connection to you. Fight hard for ITP - please don't let it overcome one more of God's little creatures. You have the ability to make a real difference. Thank you Dr. Henderson, for giving
us hope and for never letting us feel like we let Cassie down.

Hello, I am Timber. In this picture I am resting comfortably after my second Stem Cell therapy treatment at GSV. My mom put my eye cover on so I could sleep :- ), she is so thoughtful. My family and I are hoping this second treatment helps with my mobility as I am up there in age (11 1/2). The first treatment really reduced the pain I was in, which has been great, I am hoping this treatment let's me walk more. My only regret is I wish I had my ACL's done at Garden State!!!! I think I would be in better shape now if I did.

Hello I'm Gizmo the little guy with my BIG brother I want to thank you for making him better after he ate a rock my Mom & Dad were so worried about him, and you all set them at ease with the wonderful care I will be glad when my brother is home to HUG!!!!!! we are so thankful that you helped our son Roscoe Thank You for your kindness and caring.

It's been 10 months now and Karlee has an active, full life. Running, jumping and using her leg as if nothing happened. Thanks for all your persistence in finding the right solution for her. It worked!

Thank you for your condolences and sincere expression of sympathy for the loss of our precious Buster. We deeply appreciate everything the entire staff of GSV did for our special little boy back in the summer of 2007 when he had his major surgery with Dr. Irausquin, which gave us 2 1/2 more wonderful years with him. And most recently, the treatment and care he received bu doctors Meeking, Hone, Costa, Tutela, Corrente and Dziedzic. We realize our Buster received the best medical care and attention possible. He fought so hard, stayed as strong as he could and overcame many medical issues during his lifetime. But this one last time, his illness sadly overcame him. Buster was a very gentle soul and so docile. The loss of this special angel crushes our hears and there truly are no words for the pain and grief we feel. Our sincere thanks to all of you for doing all you could to sustain his life and to comfort us in the end.

I don't know if you remember 'Good Girl' who was brought in by a man who witnessed her being dumped into the woods in the Howell area? She was half dead, dehydrated, lung worms, etc. This was about 2 months ago. Well, she's my beautiful Hannah now. She's gained weight, has fur as soft as cashmere, is playful, so affectionate, loves to lick my hands. She's a lap cat, which I love because my other cats aren't that much. When I lay down on the floor to stretch or watch TV, she climbs on my chest with her face just inches away from me and purrrrrrrsssss so deep and loud. Everyone just adores her. I really had no idea she would turn out to be such a prize.
Thank you for being there when she needed, so desperately, much attention and care.
